| Having graduated Magna Cum Laude for North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1997 she maintained her membership in multiple honor societies and carried a prestigious placement on the Dean's List. |
She received her Juris Doctorate in 2000 from the University of North Carolina School of Law where again she retained her prestigious placement on the Dean's List and maintained an active participation in multiple organization.
